Black Locust is an amazing tree. It is a nitrogen fixer, with incredibly rot resistant wood. The flowers are edible. Great for fire wood, fence post, or pole wood production. It also can be used as a living fence. Great for a coppiced wood lot. Black locust does not get large thorns like its relative the honey locust.
