Potted Chinese Chestnut Trees from Cultivars Peach, Qing, and Kohr
These are trees started early this spring in 9-inch deep square root pruning tree pots. They are 1-2+ feet tall. They are happy and healthy and ready for their permanent home.
These trees were grown from a collection of seeds from the Missouri State University chestnut program. All seed comes from high-quality blight resistant cultivars suitable for commercial production. Some of these cultivars include Kohr, Qing, and Peach. These trees will then be random crosses between all of these lovely cultivars. This means there will be genetic diversity while maintaining high-quality trees.
