-A wonderful vining perennial vegetable. The roots are used in Chinese Medicine as a longevity tonic.
-These are "aerial tubers". They grow on the vine, above the soil. They can be used as food or as seeds to cultivate this incredible plant. Plant in spring or fall, in pots or in the ground.
-Prolific, hardy, and easy to grow.
-Can be cooked up as little bite-sized potatoes. They taste good, and once established can have prolific harvests
Harvesting: Grow up a trellis such as an arched cattle panel. When they are ripe, place tarps all around the trellis. Shake the trellis and the 'yamberries' will easily fall off onto the tarp.
